Vintage VW Ads

“During my childhood and adolescence in the 70s and 80s, I was entertained and inspired by Volkswagen’s print and broadcast ads. Produced by VW’s creative ad agencies, they were known for their witty and engaging text, perfectly complemented by strong photography. The agencies not only won numerous awards – but also played a significant role in boosting vehicle sales. In the late 80s, my fascination with advertising led me to apply to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, considered the premier institution for advertising studies in the United States. My journey led to working as an ad copywriter and graphic designer and ultimately founding my own agency. Thanks, Volkswagen!”
